Meet Chesna

Hello there, I'm Chesna.

I fell in love with painting during my first art class in high school. I still have my first oil study of a Georgia O'Keefe painting. After earning my BFA from Eastern New Mexico University, I moved to Dallas to work in graphic design. I  quickly found myself painting walls and furniture on the side. In 1999, I went all in and began my creative painting business. I've had the pleasure of learning the craft of decorative painting from a few dear-to-me mentors and some of the best painting schools in the United States, including The Finishing School (New York), The Finishing Source (Atlanta), Vigini Studios (San Antonio), and Faux Design Studio (Chicago). I relished several creative contracts with Evans and Brown in San Francisco.

I have transplanted my creative painting business several times as my sweet husband and I chased adventures in Chicago and San Francisco, coming full circle with our

move back to Dallas in 2020. Campbell is my maiden name and I'm using it as my Studio name because I love it. It's a part of who I am and my humble beginnings. I am blessed with two sons, and it's the greatest honor of my life to be their mom. It's my second greatest honor to live a creative life and to use my gifts.
